He was predeceased by: his stepson Doug Certain; his brothers, Theodore Newman, Jr. (T. R.) and Terry Paul Newman; his sister-in-law Dolores Newman (Cohen); and his in-laws, Harold and Winnie Grove.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Newman (Grove) of Noblesville, Indiana; his children, Brad Newman (Sonia) of Georgetown, KY, Annie Hilbert (Stuart) of Noblesville, IN and Lisa Cash (Kirk) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Sydney, Taylor, Nicholas, Peyton, Sebastian and Evelyn; his brother Roger Newman; and his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Newman and Marilyn Newman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
