He is survived by: his wife Carol Mertens; his child Thomas Crist (Trish); his grandchildren, Rose, Cami, Addy, Liza, Olivia, Maddy, Ryan and Alex; his siblings, Joseph Crist (Dorothy), Barbara Hendrickson (Francis), Patricia Girton (Jerry) and Marsha Gearhart; and his brothers-in-law, Jack McCrackin and Ken Mertens (Cathy). He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St John's Baptist Catholic School in keeping with his generous spirit.
