He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley C. Acres and Margaret Acres (Sullivan); his wife Florence Frazier; and his siblings, Anna Cain, Margaret Ellis, Harley Acres, Henry Acres and George Acres.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Drake of Fishers, John Acres of Las Vegas, Jerry Acres of Noblesville, Barbara Moser of California and Jill Acres of Las Vegas; and his grandchildren, Allison Drake and Ashley Hardey. He is also survived by 12 grand children, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
