He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ada Lawson (Prince) and Robert Lee Lawson; his wife Judy Jenkins; his children, David Lawson (Shirley) and Joyce Bentley (John); his stepchildren, Cheryl Yoder (Rick), Debbie Hyde, David Jenkins and Cynthia Bentley; his sons, Kenny Lawson and Lonnie Lutz; and his stepson James Bentley. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
