He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nickander and Carrie Nickander (McCrary); and his brother Rodney Nickander. He is survived by: his wife Joan Nickander (Madison); his sister Sue Johnson; his children, Dan Nickander (Kaylynn), Carla Crask (Bill), Kelly McVey (Mike) and Kari Perry (Adam); his grandchildren, Marci Burrow (Alex), Lindsey McVey, Madi Nickander, Mitch McVey, Carl Nickander (Kylie), Bonnie Nickander, Otto Perry and Ava Perry; and his great grandchildren, Dalyla, Arlo and Bronson Burrow.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (9900 E 191st St, Noblesville, IN 46060). A Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
