He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Monks and Anna Monks (Mealy); his siblings, Robert Monks, William Monks, Beverly Tyson and Sandra Laurain; and his grandsons, Bradley Monks and Chase Monks.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Monks; and his sons, Greg Monks (Sue), Brian Monks (Debi), Mark Monks (Ruth) and Jeff Monks. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
