He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gross and Katherine Gross (Farmer); his stepmother Leabell Gross; and his siblings, Judy Rainer, Marilyn Felton, Flora Rushin, Shirley Hopkins, Carla Jean Schweitzer, Harold Gross, Richard Gross, Roger Gross, Jim Sanders and Everett Gross.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gross (Denton) of Noblesville; his children, Jennifer Keith (Jim), Matt Tippner (Katie) of Noblesville and Todd Tippner (Molly) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Jordan Ernsberger, Bradley Ernsberger, AJ Tippner of Noblesville, Maisy Tippner of Indianapolis and Meredith Tippner of Noblesville; and his siblings, Grace Savage of Alexandria, Diana Jones (Tim) of Anderson, Al Gross (Sandy) of Round Top, TX and Kenneth Gross (Sheliah) of Frankton.
