He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Gressel and Dorathy Lois Gressel (Keltch); and his brothers, William Gressel, Donald Carr and Jerry Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee Gressel (Winkler); his daughters, Kathryn Lee Anderson (Dean) and Laurie Ann Elmore (Chris); his granddaughter Rachel Gressel; his sister Loretta Garver; and his sister-in-law Lynn Gressel. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Alzheimer's Association.
