She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elmer Phelps and Lottie Phelps (Smith); her spouse Donald M. Richards; and her children, Terry Richards (Lynn) of Panama City, Larry Richards (Kitty) of Columbia City, Indiana and Lisa Cyphert (Dan) of Tampa, Florida. She was also cherished by six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
