It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William E. Barnett Jr. of Newburgh, Indiana, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barnett and Mabel Barnett (Williams); and his brothers, Kenneth Barnett and Dwight Barnett. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Karen Barnett Becher of Newburgh, Jim Barnett (Heidi) of Newburgh, Jessica Campbell (Scott) of Indianapolis and Damon Barnett (Lindsay) of Newburgh; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke Becher, Kennan Barnett (Sydney), Cole Barnett (Annie), Emory and Asher Campbell; his great-nephews, Nash and Gray Barnett; his sisters-in-law, Debby Barnett of Evansville and BJ Beadle of Newburgh; and also, Blakely and Callie Barnett.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alexander Newburgh Chapel (5333 IN-261, Newburgh, IN 47630). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
