He is survived by: his children, Cory Ashby (Kimberly), Kayla Wesselman (Jeremy) and Chelsea Birge (Jacob); his grandchildren, Ryan, Alexander, Micah, Aria and Josiah; his parents, Jeanie Ashby and Jack Chase; and his siblings, Bill Ashby (Cheryl), Rodney Ashby (Charlene) and Joann Douglas (Maland). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
