It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary C. Tanner of Newburgh, Indiana, who passed away on July 1, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Leon Bruce; her former husband Robert Dale Pope; her husband John Tanner; her grandson Tanner Peckenpaugh; and her brother Owen Bruce.

She is survived by: her children, Rob Pope (Dena), Connie Peckenpaugh (Pope) and Barry Tanner (Kim); her grandchildren, Kelsey Hayden, Lydia Hamilton (Hayden), Joseph Hayden Jr., Robby Pope (Joni), Valerie Pope (Caleb Wiederhold), Marissa Peckenpaugh, Katie and Nathan Tanner; and her siblings, Leon "Junior" Bruce and Linda Ann Bruce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
