She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Rush and Myrtle Rush; and her siblings, Bill Rush, Bob Rush, Bonnie Benefield, Iva Mae Cox, Leon Rush and Paul Rush.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Handley; her brothers, Earl Rush (Mary Jo) and Roger Rush (Bonnie); her daughter Melinda Scheller (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Jessica Musser (Freddie), Zachary Scheller (Nathana) and Tammy Smith (James); her great grandchildren, Nathan Smith (Kala), Alexis Frazier (Ryan) and Kevin Handley (Sarah); and also, Eric Handley (Brittani), Garrett Handley (Fiona), Lauren Houlne (Jake) and Christine Aguirre. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the children's ministry at Living Word Christian Church.
