He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Willis and Meredith Willis (Robling); his wife Carmon "Kay" Willis; his son K. Wayne Willis; and his siblings, Inez Hill, Bertha Inman, Mary Graham, Robert Willis, Edward Willis and Eugene Willis.
He is survived by: his daughter Gayle Shafer (Tony); his grandsons, Brent Shafer (Melissa) and Scott Shafer (Rachel); and his great grandchildren, Grace Barnett, Caleb Shafer, Clara Shafer and Henry Shafer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
