He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Waters and Lilly Waters (Duff); his sons, James Waters, Joey Waters and Matt Waters; his brothers, Wayne Waters, Dave Waters and Steve Waters; and his former wife Beth Waters.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Waters Jr., Mark Waters, Sena, Amy Burman (Joe) and Emily Ness (Kyle); his grandchildren, Trent, Vonnie, Kalya Nunley (Jake) and Kelsha; his great grandchildren, Lexxtin, Luna, Kellie and Archer; and his siblings, Mike Waters, Darryl Waters, Fred Waters, Ray Waters, Linda Shofner and Karen Toton.
