He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Schauss and Margie Schauss (Trautvetter). He is survived by: his wife Donna Schauss (Swan); his children, Darrell Schauss and Stacey Schauss Moore (Jeff); his grandson Hunter Moore; his sister Mary (Schauss) Herrel (John); his nieces, Lindsey Herrel, MD, Heather (Herrel) and Lozynski (Shane); and his great-nieces, Sydney, Scarlett and Savannah.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Alexander Newburgh Chapel (5333 IN-261, Newburgh, IN 47630). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
