He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Barthel (Haire); his children, Scott Barthel (Shelba), Brian Barthel (Christine), Greg Barthel (Erica) and Stacy Barthel; his grandchildren, Lorean (David), Brittney (Dale), Blake (Danielle), Tyler (Mary), Jacob (Pauli), Hope (Kyle), Haley (Garrett), Haven and Jake (Miranda); and his great grandchildren, Landon, Avery, Paisley, Cru and Cleo.
