She is survived by: her son Nathan Kent (Lori) of Cadiz, KY; her grandchildren, Alexis Kent, Jacob Kent, Emily Kent, Dominique Vanover (Derek) of Lewisport, KY and Laine Hermes of Owensboro, KY; and her great grandchildren, Kevin Vanover of Owensboro, Jimmie Vanover of Owensboro and Rylee Duke of Owensboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Southern Indiana Carol Kent Hermes MHA Scholarship Endowment.
