He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewen Edward and Jimmie Mae Stinnett (Floyd); his former wife Wylene Grace'Polly'Farley Stinnett; and his siblings, Ewen Edward, Jr., Thomas Earl, David Richard, Mary Ruth Stinnett Hart and Nancy Jo Stinnett Ervin.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Stinnett; his children, Terry Stinnett (Debbie), Tamara'Tammy'Lee and Vanessa Stinnett; his sister Penny Stinnett Peterman; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua Lee (Lauren), Whitteny, Jordan Lee (Hannah) and Maggie; his great grandchild Scarlett Rose Lee; and his stepchildren, Stephanie Steele (Michael), James Lovell III, Richard Lovell (Anita) and Kay Lovell. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren, and ten step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583).
