He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Allen Blackford and Vivian "Raedell" Schwarzlose (Thomas); his stepfather Ron Schwarzlose; his son Billy Harmon; and his brother-in-law Richard Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife Terrie Anne Blackford (Ginder); his daughters, Natalie Hix (Mick) of Chantilly, VA, Elizabeth Blackford of Newburgh, IN, Tara Cissell (Richard) of Atlanta, GA and Shana Williams of Florida; his grandchildren, Ava Martin, Kelsi Clements, Kaleb Harmon and Kameron Williams; his pet Memphis; his siblings, Sherry Snyder of Calhoun, IL, Terry Blackford (Linda) of Sapulpa, OK, Randy Blackford (Ann) of Olney, IL, Dave Blackford (Darla) of Greenville, IL and Scott Blackford (Sue) of Monroe, LA; and his stepmother Glenora Blackford of Olney, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
