He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace M. Kirkpatrick and Ethel M. Kirkpatrick (Kephart); his wife Mary Emily Kirkpatrick (Barnett); and his daughter Kathi Sue Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his son Jay Kirkpatrick (Monika); his grandchildren, Marie-Kathleen of Donauworth, Germany and Jeff L. Kirkpatrick; his daughter Debby Showalter (Rick) of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, Ryan of Chicago and Jessica of Evansville, Indiana.
