He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward McClain and Inez Congrove McClain; his former wife Norma; his son Bob McClain; and his siblings, Judy Oxley, Frank, Aaron, David, Chet and Harvey.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Self (Rob); his grandchildren, Bobby, Monica, Steve, Michael, Kayla, Sheena, Matt and Chris; and his sisters, Joan Hart, Ann McLean and Sylvia Randolph. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
