He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Burton and Izena Burton (Burton); his parents-in-law, Clifford and Delphia Lawson; and his sister-in-law Rosemary Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Rhoda Lawson; his daughters, Sarah Burton (Dustin) and Whitney Burton; his siblings, Larry Burton (Arcena), Debra Chandler (Joe) and Ronnie Burton (Cinda); his grandchildren, Jaylee Burton (Thomas), Devin Jones (Alyssa), Dustin Humston, Jr., Delanie Buccos, Brandon Humston, Kenlee Buccos, Khloe Buccos, Brantlee Humston and Evelyn; his brothers-in-law, Ray Lawson (Ruthie) and Randy Lawson (Cindi); and his pet Brian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
