He was predeceased by: his mother Roberta Lawson; and his sister Joyce Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wray Houseman; and his children, Dean Houseman (Kathy), Teresa Norris (Patrick), Brenda Tearney (Matt), Janet Lutes and Stephanie Houseman (Tim Whitaker). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
