She was predeceased by: her parents, Clive Bailey and Evelyn Smith Bailey; her great grandchild Roman Flores; and her brothers, James and Robert Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas W. Benefiel; her children, Monica Wilkins (Mark), Carla Beckner, Andrea Benefiel and Jeffery Benefiel (Melissa); and her siblings, Vivian Lee, Dennis Bailey (Vicki) and David Bailey (Sharon). She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
