With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobbie Jean Stephenson of New Whiteland, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2024 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Mathes and Barbara Mathes (Williams); and her siblings, Donnie Mathes and Annie Smith. She is survived by: her husband James Stephenson; her children, Cindy Callahan (Stephenson) and James "George" Stephenson Jr. (Gail); her grandchildren, James Stuck, Halle Callahan and Mackinsie Callahan; her great grandchildren, Evelynne Stuck and Shepherd Thompson; and her siblings, Linda Garrett (Jamey), Ruth Ann Carpenter (Tom), Kathy Richardson (Louie), Brenda Balay (Dwaine), Gene Mathes Jr. (Annette) and Gary Mathes (Tonya).
