He is survived by: his wife Mary L. McCarver; his stepchildren, Tess Sykes (Mike) and Brian Thompson (Chelsea); his granddaughters, Mary Beth Sykes and Braylee Thompson; his sisters, Cheryl J. Thomas and Sandy L. Vargas (Phil); his nephew Brian; and his niece Jennifer L. Hanley (Todd).
