It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russel Monroe Sowers of New Paris, Indiana, born in Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Russel Sowers, Jr.; and his sister Bernice Rogers. He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Peartree (Wortinger) of Livonia, Michigan; his sons, Aaron Mcleod (Quincy) of Goshen and Russel Wade Sowers (Crystal) of Goshen; and his sisters, Lynette Mays (James) of Ypsilanti and Diane Perkins of South Charleston. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Goshen Cancer Center.
