She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester L. Cart and Marie Cart (Blanchard); her husband Wayne S. Whitehead; and her siblings, Donald, George Cart, Eleanor "Rosie" Davis, Ruby Hooker and Helen Ernsberger.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Wayne Whitehead and Janell Marie Rink (Mike); her granddaughters, Emily Marie Barton (Buck) of Goshen and Amanda Michelle Barzycki (Alex) of Goshen; her great grandchildren, Micah Brian of Goshen, Liberty Marie of Goshen, Brice Bartholomew Barton of Goshen, Elizabeth June of Goshen and Samantha Hazel Barzycki of Goshen; and her sister-in-law Doris Speicher. She is also survived by Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life.
Memorials may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society or Grace United Methodist Church, New Paris.
