He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Everest and Gladys Everest (Stark); his daughter Debbie McElheny; and his siblings, Dorothy Simpson, Kenneth, Thane, George, Herbert, Bruce, Boyd and Ned Everest.
He is survived by: his wife Lorita Everest of Wakarusa; his children, Rick Everest (Jill) of New Paris, Shari Searer (Gary) of Nappanee and Peggy Wisler (Jeff) of New Paris; his son-in-law Jeff McElheny of Goshen; his grandchildren, Benjamin Wisler (Clairin), Laura Everest (Matthew Gonzalez), Nathan Searer and Cassy White (Tanner); and his sister Wanda Stump of Goshen. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
