It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie E. Ramer of New Paris, Indiana, born in Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Martin and Annette Martin (Shaum); her husband Marcus W. Ramer; her great grandchild Ariana Kulp; and her siblings, Lizzie Hoover, Margaret Ramer, Verna Zimmerman, Maynard, Monroe Jr. Gerald, Charles, Harold and Kenneth Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Ramer (Charles) of New Paris, Connie Rodes (Enos) of Ligonier, Julia Rodes (Roy) of New Paris, Karla Martin (Burnett) of Bremen, Angela Nolt (Nelson) of Unity, Wisconsin, Darrell Ramer (Rachel) of Cazenovia, Nelson Ramer (Laura) of Nappanee, Dwight Ramer (Karen) of Ironside, Marcus "Lyle" Ramer (Barbara) of Snover, Michigan and Travis Ramer of Snover, Michigan; her foster children, Paulette Tramble of Duluth, Tessie Sherwood (James) of Woodburn, Jerry Miller (Tammy) of Fort Wayne and Greg Wetzel (Taneth) of Decker, Michigan.; and her sister Carol Eberly (Ray) of Mount Pleasant Mills, Pennsylvania.. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 109 great-grandchildren; five foster grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; two step great-grandchildren.
