It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty I. Mauzy of New Paris, Indiana, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Oscar and Leila Del Shafer Sr. (Lewallen); her husband Arnold M. Mauzy; her son Clifford Arnold; her daughter-in-law Lynn Mauzy; and her siblings, Bonnie Rock and Floyd Shafer Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Mauzy (Josa) and Kenneth Mauzy (Teresa).

Memorial donations may be directed to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
