She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Slaton and Viola Slaton (Welts); and her husband Chester Nuckols. She is survived by: her close friend Jackie Richards; her daughters, Carol Wehlage (Michael) and Teri Gottschalk; her grandsons, Jason (Leigh Oehmler) and Bryan Wehlage (Dannica); and her great grandchildren, Hollan, Rarity, Jax, Gibson Wehlage, McKinley House and Charlotte Matyayi.
