He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Robert McGill and Mary Ruth McGill. He is survived by: his stepfather Gary Hammond; his father David; his brothers, Tanner Carter and Austin Carter; his grandparents, Ron Stackhouse, Patty Stackhouse, Michael Carter, Becky Carter, Dannie Adams and Wilma Hammond; his stepbrother Christopher Hammond; and his great-grandparent Elizabeth Adams.
