He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanders Allen Poisal and Zora Kathryne Poisal (Barker); his daughter Julie Taylor (Poisal); his grandson Jacob Perry; and his siblings, Charles Poisal, William Poisal and Marilyn Dewey (Poisal).
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Jean Poisal; his children, Richard, Kyong Poisal, Robert Poisal, Tonya, LuAnn (Poisal), David Brown, Joan (Poisal), Daniel Poynter, Joe Kelle and Sue Kipnis (Stringer); and his brother Michael. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
