He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Cherry and Mary Cherry (Crane). He is survived by: his spouse Sharon Mohr; his son Gary Cherry (Nannie) of Loudon, Tennessee; and his grandsons, Joe Belcher and Billy Belcher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
