He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Laufer and Anna C. Laufer (Noelting); and his siblings, Dorothy Irene Laufer Horman, Emma Pauline Laufer and Erwin Elmer Laufer.
He is survived by: his sister Martha A Shore; his nieces and nephews, Wayne Horman, Paul Horman, Craig Laufer, David Shore, Cheryl Ricker, Chris Brinson, Debbie Poor and Dianna Dowdy; his niece Lilli Dove; and also Russell Dove.
