He was predeceased by: his father John R. Highsmith; and his stepfather Bill Branson. He is survived by: his mother Sherry Branson (Terrell) of Florida; his son Tyler Highsmith (Chelsea) of Greenwood; his brother Mark Highsmith (Cheryl) of New Palestine; his niece Sarah Galambos (Brian) of Las Vegas, NV; and his nephew Shane Highsmith (Sarah Wuensch) of New Palestine.
