The memory of Michael Thomas Drake of New Palestine, Indiana, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 20, 2024 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Drake and Doris Mae Drake (Loos); and his stepmother Bernice Drake. He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Drake (Meyer) of New Palestine, Indiana; his daughter Vanessa Bohner (Thomas) of Bindlach, Germany; his stepchildren, Deborah Crain (Ronald) of New Castle and Douglas McBride (Ellen) of Louisville, Kentucky; his sister Deborah Walker of SeaTac, Washington; his grandchildren, Zachary, Emily and Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Layton and Cameron.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (200 W McKenzie Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1415 Msh North Gate Rd, Madison, IN 47250).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Faith Lutheran Church at 200 West McKenzie Road, Greenfield, IN 46140, or envelopes will be available at the church.
