With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Lynn Platt (New Palestine, Indiana), born in Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on August 9, 2019 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Platt and Laura Jean Platt; his son Aaron Platt; and his brothers, Larry and Stephan Platt.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Marie Platt; his stepson Kyle May (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Trinity, Teagan McClain, Payton Dodd, Hunter Webb, Jacob and June May. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
