She was predeceased by: her husband Tim Swegman; her siblings, Charlene Bull (Mayerle) and Alfred "Buzz" Mayerle; and her parents, Alfred Mayerle and Elouise Mayerle.

She is survived by: her daughter Lorrie Kohls (Jim); her grandchildren, Kevin Kohls (Shelby) and Lauren Darden (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Bexley and Maelyn.
