We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2024, at the age of 88, Larry B McCarty of New Palestine, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McCarty and Leona McCarty (McCune); his son Robert L McCarty; and his grandson Benjamin Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Mary McCarty; his children, Julie Rogers (Chuck) and Doug McCarty (Kristin); his daughter-in-law Paige McCarty; his grandchildren, Matthew McCarty (Stefanie), Ashlee Fort (Aaron), Rachel Pyles (Ryan), Alexandria Scott (Nic), Joey Rogers, Christopher McCarty (Renee), Tyler McCarty (Jessica), Connor McCarty, Abigail McCarty (Chace) and Emma Dickey (Justin); his brother Bill McCarty (Barb); his pet Millie; and his caregiver Coleen. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel (1444 US-52, Fountaintown, IN 46130). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
