He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ammerman and Gladys Courtney Ammerman; his stepmother Larcina Ammerman; the mother of his children Nancy Stephens Ammerman Grimes; his wife Ann Dickerson Ammerman; and his sister Linda Kraus.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Hulen (Terry), Larry D. Ammerman, Jr. (Teresa) and Candi Taylor; and his siblings, Bill Ammerman (Kathy), David Ammerman (Vivian), Eric Ammerman and Bonnie Hensley (Alan).
