He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edward Aschermann Jr. and Meroe Aschermann Sims (Mallon). He is survived by: his wife Connie Aschermann (Abert) of New Palestine; his daughters, Debbie Copp of Carmel and Carol Aschermann of Indianapolis; his granddaughters, Amanda and Rachel Copp of Carmel; and his siblings, Nancy Allen of Birmingham, AL and Robert Aschermann of Colorado Springs, CO..
