She is survived by: her parents, Larry Jo Christle and Alice Jane Christle (Mehne) of New Palestine; her husband Douglas Higgins of New Palestine; her sons, Donovan Higgins (Amber Murphy) and Derek Higgins (Maggie); her grandson Nolan Higgins; her stepgrandchildren, Lily and Trenton Kirchner; her brother Randall Christle of New Palestine; and her close friend Karen Flynn. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
