He was predeceased by: his father Larry Sayers; his brother-in-law Micah Austin; and his grandparents, Virginia Jones, George Jones, Donald and Pearl Sayer.

He is survived by: his mother Sondra Bennington; his sons, Brady and Liam Sayers; and his sister Shelley Austin.
