She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Ivanell Tidwell (Bivens) and Thomas Douglas Tidwell; and her brother Virgil Tidwell (Theodore "Ted" Hempel, Jr.). She is survived by: her children, Diana Jane Burtnett (Earl), Teddi Rolland Thurman and Tracy Leigh Coleman (Christina Weaver); her grandchildren, Charles Rolland (Brittany), Amber Rolland (James Hornung), Ellei Coleman and Desiree Thurman; her great grandchildren, Chase Rolland, Rayeanna McIlquham, Mia Miller and Kyla Rolland; and her sisters, Cora "Inell" Downey of Caliente and Betty Mott of Millington, Tennessee..
