He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Harper and Gladys B. Harper (Williams); his brothers, Jackie and Larry Harper; and his nephews, Brad West and Matthew Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Christy O'Dell (Osborne) of New Palestine; his children, James Harper (Connie) of Shelbyville, Jason Harper (Kara) of Michigan, Jaymee Thibodeaux (Matt) of Greenfield and Kimberly Brooks (Ron) of New Palestine; his siblings, Judy Harper, Regina Harper, Deanna West of Greenfield and Gene Williams (Marcy) of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Miranda, Lisa, Alyssa Brooks, Rylee and Carson O'Dell.
