He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Raikes and Lela Kathern Raikes (Polly); his son John Aaron Raikes; and his sister Louise Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Raikes (Whitaker) of New Palestine; his son Paul Raikes (Sally) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Justin, Ashley and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Eli and Carson; and his sister Donna Kinman (Mike) of Beulah Vista, IN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
