With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther A. Newhouse of New Palestine, Indiana, born in Rushville, Indiana, who passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Apple and Leona Apple (Clark); and her siblings, Thurman Apple and Avis Morford Hawkins. She is survived by: her children, Rick Newhouse (Jill) of Indianapolis, Tamra Akinci (Jay) of New Palestine and Pamela Butcher (Tony) of New Palestine; her grandchildren, Kirby Hisel (Matt) of Versailles, KY, Allison Giesting (Rob) of Crestwood, KY, Lauren Reeves of Mooresville, IN, Brendon Steele (Kathy) of Austin, TX and Nicholas Butcher (Tarah) of New Palestine, IN.; her great grandchildren, Waylon Reeves, Eli Hisel, Noah Hisel, Georgia Giesting, Caroline Giesting, Henry Giesting, Nelly Steele and Eren Steele; and her sister Aleene Hunsinger of Brownsburg, IN.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
